A search for better ways of growing the rubella virus (agent of German measles) has brought Fredereick Robbins to LRL for a sabbatical year from his posts as director of pediatrics and contagious diseases at Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital and professor of pediatrics at Western Reserve Medical School.
