Seaborg's Comments

During Dr. Seaborg's tenure as the Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commision under President Kennedy, he would often receive calls from the President at home. "One time he called me and one of my young sons answered. He got distracted and didn't get around to tell me until a long time afterwards. Finally I went to the phone and there was president Kennedy at the other end of the line waiting patiently."
